2014's game was called Aerial Assist. The premise of the game is to work together with your team to score balls in the enemy goals, while preventing balls from entering your goal. Additional points were awarded for passing the ball and getting over the truss, so there was an increased focus on teamwork and cooperation to maximize points.

A major design constraint in 2014 was the sheer size of the game object. Under normal circumstances, it was very difficult to be able to hold a ball and do anything with it. After tossing around ideas of cannons and launchers, we arrived at a more simple design of our sliding platform and intake rollers: Mercury.
